Founded in 1909, the NAACP is the nation's first and largest grassroots–based civil rights organization. Their Orange County, CA chapter needed a website redesign to build on their mission to achieve equality for all people of color.
Before approaching a redesign we needed to define our style guide to exist as a unified design language. After creating our new design language we were about to build out cross functional UI components.
The NAACP - Orange County chapter required a new website ahead of their 2022 National Convention. With a short deadline, my goal was to create a user experience that appealed to new members but not overstimulate their core-base.
